With the spirit of our imagination, Heritage Oaks Bank has embarked on a journey to bring the Central Coast a fun-filled, family-oriented event. Founded in 1983, Heritage Oaks Bank has become a recognized leader in community involvement.

The Heritage Oaks Bank Family Fun Day & Fun Run was established in 1998 with a 5K race and 1 mile walk. The event started somewhat humbly, but our vision has always been to create a marquee event in our community.

We set out not only to encourage community participation, but also to draw the running world to Paso Robles. Only six years later, the Heritage Oaks Bank Family Fun Day and Fun Run is being compared to some of our nation's premier events, such as Bloomsday, Boulder to Boulder and Carlsbad.

Heritage Oaks Bank has made a commitment to the growth of this event. By partnering with various community sponsors, we have been able to make this event an unqualified success.

We also have a new and exciting approach to our 10K event. With a new name, runners will benefit because we want to pay you to participate!

We will be showcasing the following events:

• USA Masters 10K National Championship
• 50 Buck 10K
• The Aloha 5K Run
• 1 Mile Run
• 1/2 Mile Kids' Run
• 75 Yard Kids' Dash
• Diaper Dandy Dash for Cash
• 100 Yard Mascot Race
• 2 Mile Walk
